So, on Saturday night, while working on the PowerPoint for Sunday's service, my computer crashed on me. It's been doing that a lot lately. I really want to blame it on Firefox (it's been horrible since they've released this last upgrade), but who knows.
Anyhow, in frustration, as the computer was beginning to reboot, I pressed F10--system restore. I ticked yes, yes, yes, go . . . and boom ...

I've been thinking about the touchy condition of our economy, especially the ridiculously high prices for a gallon of gas. For the first time in my life, I can actually feel myself making significant modifications to my lifestyle based on how much it costs to fill my tank.
I know that a lot of people can feel the same kind of crunch when it comes to fuel. But I've ...

You may have seen our "Reconnect_Life" fliers around the neighborhood. So far, we've handed out about 3,000 of them, and we believe that they communicate a message that is very relevant to our community.
As a pastor, I try to keep a relatively accurate pulse on the spirituaity of our community. What I've found is that a lot of newer residents in North Natomas have come here through a ...

I'm very excited about our growing worship band! At present we have 3 guitar players and an occasional drummer.
God has been so good to bless us with a developing music ministry. It's always been my opinion that good music is an important component of a church gathering: it stirs the soul and causes our focus to lift up towards Jesus.

Last week we had our 2nd annual church Christmas party with those very same things being our theme. There was lots of food, a white elephant gift exchange, caroling, and even a devotional thought from God's Word about Jesus being the "reason for the season."
In the midst ...

Well, tomorrow is Thanksgiving and we all have so much to be thankful for.
I want to personally give God the thanks for blessing me with such a wonderful family. Terri and I were just out in the living room playing with little David . . . and as i watch him giggle and walk and clumsily stumble and fall, this pure sensation of overwhelming joy just fills ...

Well, we've been working on the church website for a couple months now. I'm pleased to announce that we are almost ready to go live!
Keep your eyes peeled . . . in the very near future we should be up and running. There are some pretty cool things I'm excited for you to check out!

This September NorthCity Church will be celebrating its 1 year anniversary! We began as a small group of people meeting in our Pastor's living room, and now we're a growing, moving congregation of people who worship each Sunday at Regency Park Elementary School!
Each Sunday throughout September, Pastor Glenn will be highlighting special aspects about NorthCity Church. It's a time to cast and catch a greater vision for how ...

On Sunday, August 12, 20007 we're having our first "Bring A Friend" Sunday promotion.
Everyone is encouraged to invite at least 1 friend to attend Sunday morning worship with us. We will have some special things going on that morning, so it will definitely be worthwhile!
Ask a friend, co-worker, family member, or neighbor to be with you at NorthCity on "Bring A Friend" Sunday!!!
